Learn & Serve Projects

Learn and Serve America supports and encourages service-learning throughout the United States, and enables over one million students to make meaningful contributions to their community while building their academic and civic skills. By engaging our nation's young people in service-learning, Learn and Serve America instills an ethic of lifelong community service. Through a Learn and Serve grant, the National Netowrk for Youth has undertaken an initiative to include the improvement of legal avenues for unaccompanied youth to seek protection; improvement of services and stability for these youth; and improvements in the rights and protections of unaccompanied youth established in state.

Reach out is a program with teens educating teens on sex, violence, drugs, and family issues. We have an awesome group of teens that have taken the time to write their own life stories to share with at-risk teens. We hope to educate other teens and let them know that they are not alone in their situations. We also want teens to know who to contact in certain situations and how to recognize when they need help.
